After much encouragement from my husband, I finally started to reveal my personal journey to Adorn’s customers. We saw our sales double almost overnight. I learnt that fear was my true roadblock and that more often than not, the things we take for granted in ourselves, are the very things others admire in us.
An element of storytelling is essential in building any business. I realise now that this is because human beings crave connection and authenticity. Vulnerability allows others to feel safe around us. If you have a story to tell, I believe it’s your duty of care to tell it honestly.
And just remember, if something’s uncomfortable, it usually means you’re growing.
