Skin Preparation for Aging Skin
Hi everyone! Today, to start off, I am prepping the skin with the hydrating and botanical-infused skin primer and day moisturizer. It's a beautiful primer that helps to prep the skin before applying foundation. It also plumps the skin and makes it super hydrated and fresh.
Foundation Application
For our foundation today, we're using the hydration cream mineral botanical foundation in the colour light-medium, in stick form. I'm just going to pop that onto the face and then blend it in and buff it out with a Kabuki foundation brush. Remember, stick foundations can be worn sheer or built up for more coverage. To give it a highlighted, aluminized finish, I'm adding some of the skin radiance liquid illuminizer. I'm mixing it into the foundation for an all-over dewy finish.
Concealer Application
Now that our foundation is all buffed in, we're going in with the peachy sleep organic corrective concealer. It's easy to use, and you just tap the product into the skin with a clean finger. The warmth of your finger helps to blend out the product and prevent it from settling into fine lines. This concealer brightens the under-eye area and corrects any darkness. You can also use it on the eyelids as a base for eyeshadow.
Blush Application
For blush today, we're using the organic cream mineral blush in the colour summer. I'm using the angled brush from the 7-piece brush set to apply it. This blush creates a beautiful healthy flush on the skin, keeping the look natural and simple.
Lipstick Application
Now that our skin is perfectly fresh and glowy, we're going in with mineral and organic lipstick in the colour dusty pink. Using the angled brush from the brush set, I'm applying it to the lips. This dusty pink colour adds a soft and romantic touch to the overall natural look.
Final Look
And that's it! A beautiful, easy, glowing fresh base that doesn't look like heavy makeup. We added a little pop of colour on the cheeks with a blush and finished off with the dusty pink lip. Thank you so much for watching!
