"Hey Adorners, Briony Kennedy here, and I'm just giving you a really quick tip to wearing blush. As you may or may not know, I do always wear two blush colors: one that's quite neutral and almost skin-toned, and then I use a pop of color with one of the brighter ones.

One of the tricks I want to show you, though, is the placement of your blush. The neutral shade that you put on first, if you apply it right up into this temple area, blended really seamlessly, it will actually give you a lifted look to your skin. It will help the skin look less saggy if that's an issue for you, and it will also, of course, make those cheekbones look nice and high. So, I'm going to use the winter cream blush. You could also try the spring cream blush if you've got a fairer skin or a skin color like my own. If you've got a darker skin type, you might like to use the winter cream.

Now, what I like to do is just get it onto this part of my hand because that's very, very similar to the shape of the cheeks. I rub two hands together, and then I just start from the tips of my cheekbones, which usually for most of us is halfway through the nose and the edge of the brow. So, I start here, and the reason I start there is so that I've got somewhere to blend down a little bit and blend up. You never want to place your blush where you want it to end; the placement should always be just above where you want it to end, so you've got somewhere to blend. If I was to start down here, then I've got nowhere to blend but down further, which then makes my face look even more drawn. So, always place your products just a bit above where you would like them to end because the blending will give that. Where you end up popping it into the temples, and see now I'm blending that down and around my cheekbone.

Now, popping that, as I said, right up into the cheekbone area and the temples is really going to give a nice lift to the face. It gives a nice healthy glow to the face and a natural graduation of color, which is what would happen if you had a natural flush to the cheeks. Now, if you feel at this point that you think, 'Oh, it's a bit heavier, I haven't blended it well,' grab your trusty kabuki brush and just gently sweep over it until you are happy with the depth of color and the blending.

Okay, now what I like to do is put a pop of color on, and I feel like the nudie color that I use first gives me that lift, that healthiness, but I feel that using a second blush color gives me the vitality and that healthy glow that often can, I guess, be taken away from you when you are a little bit older or when you have put foundation on. So, I'm going to use the loose in the summer blush. You could, of course, use the cream as well and just put a little pop on the apples of the cheeks. Completely up to you. If you've got drier skin, you might like to stick to the creams.

Now, I'm just putting this onto the apples of my cheeks, which is there. Never smile while you're doing it, though, because you'll get your little expression lines, and of course, the product won't be able to get in there, so always a very relaxed face when you put your pop of color on. Now, of course, if I was to use the creams, it'd probably be a little bit more intense, this pop of color. And again, if you put too much on, don't worry about it. Just get the placement of it right, get it nicely blended as best you can, and then you can always come back to your trusty kabuki just to press over the top of it to blend that for you.

Perfect. So, that's a really beautiful pop of color. So, that is the summer loose blush and the winter cream. So, of course, with our range, you can use creams and loose together and over the top of each other.

Okay, now I'm just finishing that off with a really nice blend of my larger brush, just to settle it all down. Also, one little tip would be to just brush in a downwards motion so that if you do have little hairs on your face, they sit down and they're not up from that buffing, which can, of course, draw attention to those hairs on the face. So, hopefully, you learned something from that little tip. Have some fun, have a play, and just see what works for you."
