Makeup Tip: It is common to need 2 different shades especially as the seasons change. If you are inbetween shades use a matte bronzer or contour shade around the hairline, cheekbones, jawline and neck to give the colour a 'lift'.

Is Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride comedogenic/clog pores? AND what is it?
Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides is a mixed triester derived from coconut oil... Caprylic mainly works as an emollient, dispersing agent, and solvent. As an emollient, it both quickly penetrates the surface to condition the skin and provides a lightweight and non-greasy barrier of lubrication.
Comedogenic ingredients tend to be fatty emollients (but not all fats). Comedogenicity is complex. In fact, avoiding particular ingredients isnrsquo;t helpful because what really matters is the comedogenicity of the final product. The degree of comedogenicity is determined by the quantity of the ingredient in question, the length of time it sits on the skin, where on the face or body it is applied, whether there are other comedogenic ingredients in the product, and individual skin chemistry. In fact, comedogenicity is highly variable across people due to differences in a personrsquo;s skin enzymes. An ingredient may be highly comedogenic for one person, but not at all for another. Also, the combination of ingredients in a product matters, and since Adorns Liquid Foundation mainly consists of rosewater and minerals the formulation is considered non-comedogenic (won't clog pores).
Scientifically to make understanding ingredients more confusing - you could have a combination of comedogenic ingredients but end up with a non-comedogenic product. And vice versa too. A product could be made of non-comedogenic ingredients but end up being comedogenic.
As is always advised we highly recommend customers trialing our samples first to test for suitability and personal preference or seek the advice of a dermatologist.
