Adorn minimises beauty waste by producing in alignment with demand. Products therefore rarely sit on the shelf for long, reducing the chances of expiration or unsold items ending up in landfill. This approach ensures product availability and freshness for our customers.

Adorn makeup and skincare include organic and certified organic ingredients whenever possible. However, pure mineral makeup due to its inorganic nature, cannot be classified as organic. Minerals, though not organic, are natural and occur naturally.

The term "gluten-free" can be applied if the gluten content is below 20 mg/kg.

While we believe our products do not contain gluten, primarily found in wheat and other grains, we advise those with serious allergies to consult a doctor or conduct a patch test before use.

Please note: Our Night Repair Face Oil contains wheat germ oil, but the trace of gluten in the wheat germ oil does not exceed 5 mg/kg.

No. Parabens are preservatives that are commonly used in products such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, and makeup. While parabens are considered safe, Adorn avoids using parabens in its formulations due to growing evidence questioning their safety.

Bacteria require water to exist and for this reason, beauty products that contain water or aloe absolutely should have a preservative for health, safety, and performance.

Adorn uses a premium certified organic preservative (labelled parfum) in these products.

Where possible we use airless packaging as this helps maintain ingredient integrity and prevents oxidation.

Oils and pure mineral makeup, that do not contain water or aloe, do not require preservatives.

No. Our bodies and everything in existence consist of chemicals.

Water is a 'chemical' for example. Some naturally occurring chemicals are 'safe' (like water) and some like (arsenic) are not. The same applies to synthetic (man-made) chemicals; some are safe and some are not.

Parfum is the INCI (global standard name for labelling) for a natural, broad-spectrum preservation system derived from non-genetically modified plant material, approved by Australian Certified Organic (ACO).

No. Adorn products do not contain Teflon or PFAS chemicals.

The SPF 20+ in our Mineral Foundation is derived from natural minerals non-nano Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxides.

Yes, a light dusting (no buffing) is recommended for the delicate eye area. For more coverage, use Adorn Cosmetics mineral concealers.

Although talc is a mineral, it is drying, considered toxic and a carcinogen. Adorn products are formulated without talc.

Safe Cosmetics Australia certifies Adorn Cosmetics to be allergen and toxin-free, using natural and organic ingredients.

To return your empty Adorn products:
- Keep an Adorn 'reusable postal bag' from a prior order and fill it with your empty Adorn products.
- Only send your empties back when the mailer bag is full, and ensure they are clean.
- Include your contact details (full name, phone number, and email address) with your recycling return.
