As a Spot Treatment:
Start with clean skin and using a clean fingertip or a cotton swab, apply a small amount of the clear gel directly onto the blemish you wish to treat. Continue with your regular skincare routine, avoiding skincare products on the treated area.
As an All-Over Serum:
On clean skin apply a thin layer all over the affected area. Allow it to fully absorb. Then follow with your regular skincare routine, including moisturiser and sunscreen in the daytime.
Refilling Your Adorn Bottle Health, Hygiene & Safe Beauty Practice
For the purpose of good health and safety practices when purchasing our skincare refills, it is the customer's full responsibility to record the batch number from the refill packaging prior to dispensing it.
Once a refill has been dispensed or removed from its sachet, Adorn Cosmetics takes no responsibility for any contamination or stability issues that may arise. While this is unlikely, we do strongly recommend following these steps which are also outlined on our refill packaging.
1. Thoroughly clean and sanitise your used cosmetic packaging using either the Adorn Cosmetic Hand & Surface Sanitiser, OR a minimum of 70% pure Isopropyl Alcohol or Ethanol which can be purchased from most chemists.
2. Allow packaging to thoroughly air dry for at least 24 hours before dispensing your refill product into it.
*Adorn Cosmetics Cleaning Brush (available in our Tools section) will assist with removing any old residue of product."

How to Clean Your Refillable Skincare Packaging
Cleaning your skincare packaging is the first step and crucial to avoiding cross-contamination of your new skincare.
- Remove the lid and pump from your empty jar base.
- Push the inner plate of the jar back down to the bottom.
- Wash all parts thoroughly with hot, soapy water.
- Rinse well, place upside down, and allow everything to air dry completely.
- Alternatively, sanitise and wipe clean each component using 70% Isopropyl Alcohol or Ethanol from the chemist.
Refilling Your Airless Skincare Jar or Bottle:
- Clean or sanitise your packaging as mentioned above.
- Refill: Pour your skincare refill directly into the clean, dry jar or bottle, ensuring the internal plate or disc has been pushed back down to the bottom.
- Reassemble: Secure the pump and lid back onto the jar.
- Initial use: You may need to turn your jar or bottle upside down and shake it, or store it in this position, to help disperse any air bubbles that could prevent the vacuum sealing and pump from working.
- Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
Refilling Your Standard Skincare Jar or Bottle:
- Clean or sanitise your packaging as mentioned above. (Skip Step 2)
- Refill: Pour your skincare refill directly into the clean, dry jar or bottle.
- Reassemble: Secure the pump and lid.
- Initial use: You may need to turn your packaging upside down and shake it, or store it in this position, to help disperse any air bubbles that could prevent the vacuum from sealing and the pump from working.
- Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
Refilling Your Serum Bottle:
- Clean or sanitise your packaging as mentioned above, ensuring that the serum lid/dip tube is also completely clean and free of any old product. (Skip Step 2)
- Refill: Pour your serum refill directly into the clean, dry bottle, ensuring the lid/dip tube is also completely dry inside.
- Reassemble: Secure the dip tube/lid back onto the serum bottle.
- Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
