How to find your best foundation match

Try shades along the jawline in natural daylight and wear your best match for several hours. Look at both colour and finish: does it stay comfortable, does it flatter your texture, and does it still look like your skin? If two shades are close, compare them side by side rather than guessing from an online swatch.
