OUR INGREDIENTS

Every Adorn formula is made in Australia and built around ingredients we are happy to name. This page explains what we use, why we use it, and what we leave out.

Certified vegan and cruelty-free

All Adorn products are certified vegan and cruelty-free by Safe Cosmetics Australia. That certification is brand-wide — it applies to every product we sell, not a selected range.

Minerals

Our loose and pressed makeup is built on finely milled minerals, including titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, mica and iron oxides. Minerals sit on the skin rather than soaking into it, which is why they suit skin that reacts easily. They provide colour, coverage and a natural finish without talc, synthetic fragrance or bismuth oxychloride.

Plant oils and butters

Cold-pressed oils do the conditioning work across our skincare and cream makeup — rosehip, jojoba, camellia, avocado, apricot, baobab and squalene among them. They are chosen for how they feel on drier, more mature skin: cushioned rather than greasy, and comfortable under makeup.

Australian native botanicals

Where a native ingredient earns its place, we use it. Kakadu plum, lime caviar, bakuchiol and lemon myrtle all appear across the range, grown and harvested in Australia.

Active ingredients

Our cosmeceutical skincare uses well-studied actives at meaningful concentrations, including hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C, peptides, ceramides, copper peptides, AHAs and BHAs. Each product page lists the concentration where relevant, so you can see exactly what you are buying.

What we leave out

No animal-derived ingredients. No animal testing, at any stage, by us or on our behalf. No talc, no synthetic fragrance, no parabens, and no bismuth oxychloride.

Refillable by design

Most of our formulas are available as refills, so the ingredients you like can be repurchased without buying the packaging again.
