How to Apply Highlighter on Mature Skin
Start with well-moisturised, primed skin, then apply your foundation. Using a small, soft fan brush or a tapered highlighter brush, lightly sweep the highlighter across the tops of your cheekbones — not the apples, which can emphasise texture.
Apply a thin line along the brow bone, just beneath the eyebrow arch, to create a lifting effect. Dab a small amount into the inner corners of the eyes to instantly brighten and open the eye area. Sweep lightly down the bridge of the nose and dot onto the cupid's bow for a fresh, youthful finish. Build gradually — one light layer creates a subtle daytime glow; a second pass adds intensity for evening.
Avoid applying directly over deep wrinkles, large pores, or heavily textured areas — highlighter works best on the smoothest, highest points of the face, where it catches light naturally.
