That's why we're excited to introduce our new refillable mess-free mineral foundation jar - a thoughtful redesign that makes refilling and your daily makeup routine easier while taking another step towards reducing our environmental impact.
*From July 9th, 2026, our SPF 20 Mineral Foundations will be packaged in our new jar. Any existing mineral foundations purchased after this date that are packaged in the current jar will include our complimentary new jar.
Empty ocean-waste recycled foundation jars will also be available for purchase.
Refillable Foundation Jar 'Unpacked'
Our new refillable makeup jar features an 80% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic lid, giving new life to plastic collected through ocean waste, kerbside recycling, and manufacturing offcuts.
Each Sustainable Foundation Jar prevents approximately 21 standard plastic straws from entering circulation. It's just one more way we're continuing our commitment to creating products that are kinder to our planet without compromising on performance.
Mess-free Mineral Foundation
We didn't just redesign our foundation jar to look beautiful—we designed it to help keep your bathroom counter as clean as your makeup.
The new jar features a larger 40mm mesh sifter, giving every Adorn brush more room to swirl and evenly distribute your foundation on your Kabuki Brush.
Our new mesh sifter also has a flip-top lid attached.

Refilling Foundation
One of the best things about our new jar is how simple it is to refill.
Steps to refill:
- Unscrew and remove the outer lid. Lift the flip-top sifter lid, then press two clean fingers into the mesh, curling them under the sifter. Firmly pull the sifter up. DO NOT use the sifter lid to pull the sifter off, as this may break the flip lid.
- Remove the sifter
- Pour your foundation refill into the jar.
- Press the sifter back into place.

Not at all. Only the jar has changed; the mineral foundation formula remains exactly the same.
Can I refill the new mess-free foundation jar?
Yes! The new removable sifter has been specifically designed to make refilling quick and easy.
Is the new jar more sustainable?
Yes. The new lid contains 80% Post Consumer Recycled plastic, uses less overall plastic than before and helps reduce packaging waste through its refillable design.
Will my Kabuki Brush fit?
Absolutely. The new 40mm sifter comfortably accommodates all Adorn foundation brushes, including our Kabuki Brush.
Can I buy the new jar separately?
