Sweat-Resistant 'Exercise Ready' Makeup

I just thought I would share with you my tips for a quick everyday makeup routine using just a few products. This is the look I tend to go for when I'm about to go to Pilates, which is what I'm about to do this morning. You might want to use it for the gym or when you're running errands or dropping off the kids. This routine will help you feel a little bit fresh. I understand that some of you might prefer not to wear makeup while exercising, and I respect that. But for me, it's all about feeling good. When I feel that I look fresh, I also feel good. So for me, I just want to cover these dark circles and give my skin a fresh look, regardless of where I'm going. Obviously, I'm going to Pilates to get fit, so the last thing I want is a product on my face that could be harmful. It needs to be something healthy for my skin.

Certified allergen-free products from Adorn Cosmetics are what I'm going to show you today. I can use them everywhere without worrying about my eyes, and they are also sweat-resistant. So, even if I work up a sweat, which I hope I do today, I don't have to worry about my makeup dripping off my face. More importantly, my skin will still be able to breathe and function properly, avoiding congestion. I won't feel like I have any makeup on, just a fresh version of my morning face.

Let's get started! Here are the tips I would like to quickly show you for my morning routine, regardless of what I'm doing or the look I'm trying to achieve.

Start with the Adorn Hydrating Skin Primer Day Moisturizer: This 2-in-1 product primes and preps the skin for makeup while providing hydration. It saves time by eliminating the need for two separate products. Since I have mature skin that tends to be on the drier side, I like to mix the primer day moisturizer with Adorn's Antioxidant Superfood Facial Oil. These oils won't clog your skin and actually help calm redness and acne. Mixing them with the primer turns the loose mineral foundation into a liquid, providing a more dewy look for drier and duller skin. Apply a small amount of both products to your face, including the eyes, as they are allergen-free.
Optional: Adorn Cucumber Eye Cream: If you have dehydration around the eyes, apply a small amount of this eye cream to moisturize the area and prevent makeup from settling into unwanted lines. Use a tiny bit on the under-eye area and blend it gently.

Apply Adorn Anti-Aging Loose Mineral Foundation: This foundation offers UVA/UVB broad-spectrum SPF 20+ protection, which is important for preventing pigment damage. It is sweat-resistant and lightweight, making it ideal for daily wear. The shade I'll be using is Medium Olive, but you can choose Light to Medium if you prefer a lighter color. Only a small amount, approximately a corner of a gram, is needed for your whole face, neck, and décolletage. Use a kabuki brush with a flat top to buff the foundation into your skin evenly. Concentrate on areas with redness, such as around the nose and any pigmentation or psoriasis spots. Apply to the neck and décolletage as well for sun protection.

Use Adorn Peachy Sleep Concealer: Apply this concealer after foundation to hide any remaining flaws. This concealer has a slight apricot tone that counteracts dark circles and veins. Use your ring finger to apply a small amount to the under-eye area and any other areas that need extra coverage. Avoid putting too much concealer, as the foundation will already have provided coverage for most imperfections.

Add Adorn Summer Cream Blush: Apply a small amount of this blush to the apples of your cheeks using your ring finger. Blend it upwards towards the temples, making sure to stop before the edge of your eyebrows. Placing it too low can make your face look drawn, especially if you have an oval or narrow face shape.
Optional: Adorn Waterproof Mascara: Apply mascara to your lashes, focusing on the outer lashes to create an open and uplifted look. Waterproof mascara is recommended for sweat resistance. You can also use regular mascara for a more natural look.

Finish with Adorn Bulgarian Rose Water: Spray this rose water all over your face to give your skin a fresh appearance and hydrate it. This can help soften the mineral makeup if you applied too much and make it look more natural.

Complete the look with Adorn Bridget Organic Lip Gloss: Apply this nude lip gloss to add hydration and a touch of color to your lips.
That's it! This is a quick and simple makeup routine that you can easily follow in the morning. I hope these tips help you get ready efficiently. Remember, Adorn Cosmetics is all about making women feel good, whether you choose to wear makeup or not. Thank you, and bye!

Hydration vs Moisturising? The Quick Study Guide

‘Hydrating’ and ‘moisturising’ can be misunderstood as the same thing but to put it simply, ‘skin hydration’ refers to the water content of your skin cells, while ‘moisturising’ the skin involves locking in moisture on the skin’s surface. Both are necessary for achieving healthy skin for longer.
